Construction
of an interim Terminal A south concourse began in Summer 2000. Five
additional aircraft gates will be added while a permanent expansion of
Terminal A is being built adjacent to the interim concourse. The
interim concourse is scheduled to be completed early Summer 2001.
The massive redevelopment of Terminal A will allow the terminal to
have more than 35 aircraft gates. The square footage of floor area
will grow from a current 220,000 sq. feet to nearly 1million.
