Hebrew mysticism is the basis of the Qabalah. Here is charted
the
Tree of Life, and its corresponding paths. Considering the 7 or 8
(depending upon your school of thought) planes of existence, the
Qabalah outlines such manifolds... albeit somewhat cryptic.
This was and is the study of The Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn,
practitioners of Ceremonial Magick, to name but a few.
Alestair Crowley is probably one of the most famous who have written
about such studies. Dion Fortune was another...
(For that matter, Dion Fortune wrote quite a bit about the vampiric.)
In my years of study however, there is not one book available on the
market that will answer your questions 100%. The Qabalah however, is
one of the purest forms of high-level spiritualist correspondences
that I have been exposed to.
My favorite book regarding this subject is Donald Michael
Kraig's, "Modern Magick." In this publication, much of the
Qabalah
is explained clearly and without the past limitations that were set
upon the founding members of The Golden Dawn. This is a relatively
easy to follow work-book to establish the preliminary groundwork to
becoming a practicing magician (and I am not referring to rabbits
coming out of a top-hat.)
Dion Fortune's book, "The Mystical Qabalah" is also one that I
would
highly recommend... as well as Alestair Crowley's, "777."
Generally accepted Levels of the Planes of Existence are:
It is the 6th, 7th and 8th plane of existence that remain immortal
throughout all incarnations; known as the Unit of Evolution. Planes
1 to 5 are applied to each incarnation seperately, building up
personality; known as the Unit of Incarnation.
It is the Theory of Levels that describe the anatomy (what it is) of
the Universe, whereas the Theory of Polarity describes its pathology
(how it works.) Anatomy and physiology can be hard enough to study
when it's just about the human body... let alone applying it to the
world, and furthering that to include more than just the physical
level!
There are entities that are not limited to an existence upon the
physical plane. When studying such entities, for example - studying
about the Motetz Dam - it is wise to educate oneself defensively
first.
I do not know if anyone else has noticed, but your thoughts are not
private. They can be heard, felt, directed... they are not silent.
Certainly, among the physical plane of existence this is not
feasible - but considering the levels of existence, there certainly
therein lies an explanation.
All too often, the arrogant human mind thinks its thoughts are its
own. Through reading, studying and searching - channels become
awakened, doors become opened. We are not the only ones who can
travel through "open doors."
There is a protection of the niave and innocent when it comes to
spiritual matters. Accountability comes with knowledge. Should
you
seek something out, I find it increadulous that one would not
consider that it could find you.
I understand that Motetz Dam is not a cute, cuddly, friendly and
benevolent creature. Should it hold a reality upon any of the planes
of existence, be aware that it can establish itself into your reality.
This is why I recommended the banishings be studied.
The banishing I regard essential for the safe-studier is the Lesser
Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram. Prior to performing this however,
it is advisable to do the Relaxation Ritual. These are the basics of
daily ritual for a practicing magician...
(I am certainly not about to start converting the faithful religious
to occultic paths. So heck, if you pray everyday - then just keep on
praying. I see no flaw in that. If you do not however, you are
left
quite open to manipulation upon the spiritual plane.)
With study and practice, the Qabalah (and the other books
mentioned...) open up pathways to the astral plane. Certainly, other
practices succeed in this area also. The reason I recommend this
modality however, is that unlike spiritualists (who will usually
speak to whatever spirit comes their way...) - the practicing
magician comes into contact with specific dieties and
principalities. Further to this, they also should be educated
regarding how to banish such entities.
Invoking certain spirits can take months of preparation. Crowley
himself is said to have been possessed by one, and it is rumored that
his apprentice was unable to successfully banish the thing...
Some occultists believe that even speaking the name of an entity will
draw its attention to you. Although I can neither prove nor disprove
this point, I say it simply as a cautionary note.
Especially as these writings are based upon Judaic mysticism, and
parts of the rituals consist of Hebrew - it seemed most appropriate
(to me, at least) that these things be considered in regards to
Motetz Dam.
Further to this, with applied study of this path - further works may
be approached to reveal further truths that currently remains out of
publication. I am speaking of astral work, as well as invocations.
Should anyone request it, I will type out the LBRP and Relaxation
Ritual.
Kindly,
Mythic
