In 1751, the Frenchman Dom Augustin Calmet wrote the
following: "If the return of vampires is real, then we must defend that fact and prove it. And if it is just an illusion, then it is in the interest of religion to disprove it for the benefit of those who do believe in its existence." The purpose of this group is to research vampire related facts in order to find the truth. Our findings will be posted on public view in order to share this information with the public in order to either prove the existence of vampires, or to prove the illusion of vampires. We are very serious in our research and use scientific methods in our examinations. This group was started in July, 2001. Most posted research from the group forum is stored on this website as 'public information.' The forum can be joined by clicking HERE. This group is NOT a fan group for fictional literature or films. We are interested in true crimes of the vampyric nature, 'human living vampires' who are human vampires that are not 'undead' but show vampyric traits of some kind, and the 'undead' vampire. We are here to gather information from all locations possible to store and share this information so that knowledge of the true vampire can be obtained. information is welcome.
