Diploma of Amateur Astronomy
The diploma course is a follow on from the certificate course and introduces
the candidate to an in depth discussion on various astronomical topics.
It is divided into five modules (see below) each with a number of lectures.
The lecture notes are not as detailed as in the certificate course and
the candidate is expected to spend some time in private study.
Assessment is by way of short and long answer questions based on the lecture
material but requiring some independent study
