The World of Darkness. Vampires rule the cities of man, and move silently through the night. The werewolves hold the woodlands, fighting a desperate battle against unspeakable odds. Mages battle the beliefs of humanity and themselves, struggling to win a war that's already lost, against others of their own kind. The world is falling apart all around, and no one can do anything to stop the rush of it's collapse .. or can they?

Shadow Games is a World of Darkness MUSH set in the city of Washington D.C. The 'Capital of the Free World' is more than is suspected by its residents, and will play a major role in the times still to come. More than just another "White Wolf Social Mush", Shadow Games has a projected master plot and timeline, rather than being the "This is the World of Darkness in . Have fun!" theme that some other White Wolf mushes seem to be. There is a story to be told, and it is the actions of the players that will affect that story as it unfolds.

Feel free to examine the links here, especially the ones that relate to the city. Shadow Games' IC grid is as accurate a representation as was feasible, but neither that, nor the online news files can accurately convey the feel of the city, the atmosphere, in the way that the linked pages can. Also, please feel free to follow the "character category" links, where you can learn more about the procedure for applying for a supernatural character, and what sorts of characters are available.

We will be accepting applications for Super, Mortal+ and Mortal Characters.
