Our Equipment

The mighty Tippmann "T-14". This paintball rifle was made by dropping a brand new Tippmann Pro/Carbine into a used USMC M-14 rifle stock.. The marker features custom wood grips, an Armson rifled barrel, and a rear velocity adjuster. We tried mounting a small rifle scope onto it for sniper operations, but found that the bolt guide rod came flying out the top of the rifle when we removed the standard ramp rear sight (the sight fits into a horizontal groove on the top of the reciever and keeps the bolt guide rod in place). The stock was custom machined to fit the contours of the Pro/Carbine, and the upper hand guard above the barrel was cut to length. In addition, the stock was lengthened to optimize the length of pull for the comfort of larger build shooters.

Inferno MKII. We built this marker on the basic frame of the Inferno, a marker from Great Britain. The price was right, and we found that the ease of cleaning made the difference between the Inferno and all other entry-level markers we reviewed. To clean in the field, one must only pull up on the bolt retaining bar and slide the bolt out of the back. A jerk squeege can then be pulled through the entire marker, cleaning the chamber as well as the barrel.
Extras on this Inferno are a 14" aftermarket sniper barrel, ACI Sub-Zero expansion chamber, venturi bolt (somewhat rare for Infernos), raised sight rail, Copperhead red dot sight (better in all light than the non-hooded sights), a 12 volt Revolution hopper, 24 oz. tank, and a Scenario Systems M203.

Ghillie Inferno. This is the same Inferno as above, but with the M203 removed and the Ghillie camouflage coverings put on. When used in conjunction with the Ghillie suit below, our sniper is almost invisible.

This is a clandestine paintballer's dream. For those times when you do not want to be noticed, nor even heard from, this is the marker of choice. It is an ACI Maverick with an overhead mounted 12gram CO2 quickchange for power, fully suppressed barrel, and extra light 50 round hopper (full sized viewloaders and revolutions can be mounted too, but are not practical). The accuracy of the marker was actually improved, and the range did not suffer significantly. To conform with BATF wishes, it is shown here with a replica, non-functioning silencer (a real one in this picture may get us in trouble).

COMING SOON!

Ghillie suit. This suit took quite a while to make, but in our minds, the hard work was worth it. After a few weeks of sewing the burlap straps onto the suit, several hundred all by hand, we were ready to test our new camo system. Since it is still winter and the forest is brown, the ghillie suit did not prove to be as effective as we hoped. But, our sniper burrowed in next to some evergreens and landscaping bushes that are always green for some reason, and we realized how truly effective our new suit was! This summer, no one will see him until it's too late!
