Curriculum

Long Term Plans

Whilst your children are at our Nursery, our aim is to deliver the Foundation Curriculum within the following six areas of development: Personal, Social and Emotional, Communication, Language and Literacy, Mathematics, Knowledge and Understanding of the World, Physical and Creative. (Government requirement Autumn 2000).

All our activities are based on the children learning through play thus ensuring that they enjoy an active curriculum through talking, having fun, listening and observing through quality experiences.

We enjoy whole group activities, small group activities, one to one experiences, going on visits and having all kinds of people in to talk to us.

We are supported in our work by the Early Years Advisory Teacher for Poole, who visits frequently, delivers training and attends our Annual General Meeting.

As parents we look forward to involving you and as staff we aim to do our best for your children.
