Angelo Luzio's pointes are made with a soft white cotton lining, a leather insole and outersole. The outersole is a rougher variety of leather which helps the dancer grip the floor. No nails are visible inside or out. Only even, white stitches are on the perimeter of the outer sole.

"03Z" Model
Satin upper, leather sole, cotton lining, round tapered toe. This is the narrowest fitting and the most tapered shoe of Angelo Luzio's. It has the smallest platform. It also has the highest profile, with the deep slope beginning at the drawstring and sharply declining down to a slightly rounded platform. A conical and round box for tapered feet and toes.

"05Z" Model

"71Z" Model
Satin upper, leather sole, cotton lining, flat wide toe. This pointe is the classic "medium" shoe that flatters toes that are slightly tapered or with two or more of the same length. It has a wider platform that slants slightly up and back toward the drawstring. Medium round/flat box.
