Mt. Ugu Traverse Climb

The whole crew at the summit of Mt. Ugu

I led a team of 29 climbers during the long holidays from November 1 to 3, 2001. We traversed Mt. Ugu from Tinongdan, Itogon, Benguet to Central Kayapa, Nueva Vizcaya.

Our group was composed of members of PSI (Jinkee, Jun V., Jun Pinoy, Liza, Anne, Aline, Mai, Marc, Vic, Tonton, Dennis, Darlyn & yours truly); the group of Texas Intruments from Baguio (led by Paul, including Glen, Bunny, Lyza of Fedex/WeTrek, & Mavel of Onsemi/CREST); the group from AMOC/SMOC/PSBA, collectively known as the 7 dwarfs (led by Jag, including Jay, Arvin, Robert, Jojo, Alfie and Banny); plus Naidz (MMS), Grace (Tuktok/Smart), Joey (JC & Co.) and Chris RK. Paul and Naidz helped me a lot during the planning stage.
