Mt. Tenglawan, Bakun, Benguet
Mt. Tenglawan viewed from afar
Live your life each day as you would climb a mountain. An occasional glance
towards the summit keeps the goal in mind, but many beautiful scenes are to be
observed from each new vantage point.

Mt. Tenglawan
We took refuge inside a small cave when it rained after lunch. Here we could have our siesta. We will resume our trek when the rains stopped. It didn't. We crossed a couple of creeks and proceeded to climb a steep hill dotted with pine trees. The trails were gone. We were just following the footsteps of our Kankanay guides who knew the way to the summit by heart.
Rain poured in torrents. We had no choice but to get soaked and wet. We looked around and saw that the the rain created numerous waterfalls cascading down the neighboring mountains. It was like being in hell and in paradise at the same time.
