Mt. Amuyao Amuyao

Climb one of the top ten highest peaks in the Philippines and visit some isolated Ifugao villages along the way. This traverse trek is not for the physically challenged, but only for those prepared to get lost in the middle of nowhere. The reward is solitude and an exclusive peek to some of the most scenic views that the Ifugao landscape has to offer.

Batanes Batanes

Trek through Batanes, an isolated group of islands in the northernmost frontier of the Philippines. The natural elements have a created a rugged but beautiful, natural landscapes and seascapes. Its relative isolation helped preserve the unique culture of its native Ivatans.

Baler, Aurora Baler, Aurora

Hike through the hills and beaches of Baler, a sleepy town on the Pacific rim of Luzon. Baler's natural wonders include fantastic seascapes, verdant forests, secluded coves, sheer cliffs, rugged coastlines and pristine beaches.

Mt. Batulao Batulao

The initial trek is easy but the way to the summit is hard going. Its attractions include craggy cliffs and wide open-spaces. Mt. Batulao will give you a sense of Zenlike adventure you'll never forget.

Calauan, Laguna Calauan

A sleepy, farming town in Laguna, it has a small mountain in Baranggay Lamut. The summit affords a 360-degree of Laguna de Bay, the provinces of Laguna and Quezon.

Spelunking in the Capisaan Caves System of Kasibu, Nueva Vizcaya lets one enjoy the awe-inspiring beauty of its natural stalactite and stalagmite formations in the subterranian paradise.

Caramoan Peninsula Caramoan

Mt. Pinatubo Pinatubo

Tarak Tarak

Tired of climbing the mountains of Southern Tagalog? In the nearby province of Bataan, you can enjoy a weekend of backpacking in a different locale. Try to enjoy the cool waters at the base. It's windy on top and the view is fantastic.

Tenglawan Tenglawan

The road less travelled leads to Tenglawan. Guarded by four mean spirits feared by the local Kankanays, the climb is only for adventurers in search of a different kind of high.

Tirad Pass Tirad Pass

Traverse trek of historical Tirad Pass where the young Filipino General Gregorio "Goyo" del Pilar fought his last stand to cover Aguinaldo's retreat from the Americans in the Cordilleras in 1899. Tread the centuries-old Spanish trail and take a peek at my group's travails as we hopped from town to town, enjoying the friendliness and hospitality of the local folks we met.

Ugu Ugu

Traverse climb of Mt. Ugu, with jump off at Tinongdan, Itogon, Benguet and descent to Central Kayapa, Nueva Vizcaya. The multiday climb offers an interesting alternative to more popular routes. There are lots of scenic views on open trails and solitary walks along pine forests. Meet also Ibaloi natives as one passes by numerous villages.
