Island poet with feet on the ground and head in the clouds! A New Adventure Begins The Landing |
|
As the moon went through it's phase of total darkness, I thought this might be a good time to enter.
The people were in quiet awe of the event taking place. I did not want an audience.
After all, coming in alone meant as little people around as possible, did it not?
After arrival, I curled up in a tiny little bed to buffer the shock that my little body had just gone through.
When i had decided to take this adventure I did not realise the extent of discomfort that would take place in the landing.
The room was very cold and the only sound was that of infant humans making loud whinny sounds. I did not know what to make of it at first.
As soon as I felt strong enough I started to look around. The walls were white with little or nothing on them. There were many little beds such as the one I was in..
I started to wonder how many other places sent adventurers out to this planet. There seemed to be at least a dozen just in this room alone.
I wondered how many other rooms like this were in this facility. I had no Idea until now that every creature that came to this planet entered just as i.
After a few days, I think a week it was in earth time, someone came and started to put cloths on me that were different then the daily wear.
I did not know what to make of this. After getting me all dressed and wrapped in a piece of soft fuzzy cloth, they carried me out of the room.
This was a new adventure. Where were theytaking me. I had not left this room for the whole time.
I was handed to an older female. The ones who had been caring for me in that room were younger in looks then this female.
I knew it was a female from my studies before i came here. It was at this time that i started to wonder about something, I had not seen a male of this species as yet.
I thought about why this was. Did the females and males live apart frome each other? This was a question that would have to wait, I was being carried down some long hall then out of the building.
It was so bright I had to squint my eyes shut. The woman kindly covered my eyes with the cloth that I was swaddled in. I was so thankful she had been so observant of my state, my eyes were hurting.
