Civilisation Evolution (homepage) is a project to develop a game like MicroProse's Civilisation (and successors) - a turn-based war game. Perceived flaws in the commercial games can be addressed. An interesting aspect of the project is that AI players may be implemented by third parties. This offers the possibility that players will still have new challenges when the game has finished development. This web site is mainly concerned with AI development.
