  • Now that everyone’s back in Oakdale I cannot wait to see what Lucinda has up her sleeve for Henry. Is she trying to get him out of the martini sipping wacko that he is and become a serious businessman or what? Does she know something about him that he doesn’t? I would’ve figured Lily might’ve said something to Lucinda about Margo & Katie just because of Simon that way Henry would know as well. I’d love to see Henry’s concern about his friend Katie even though he wants to strangle her most of the time, he did save Simon. He does crumble and does anything for her everytime she starts to cry. The scenes this past week with Margo and her family - first with Tom & Casey were amazing, heartwarming & very touching they made me cry. I love that Casey thanked his Aunt Katie for saving his Mom’s life. With John, Bob & Kim - when Margo called John, Dad and when John kept thanking Katie. Craig with both his sisters - I felt the tears when he told Margo he wanted to say three words I love you and then with Katie. He was even great outside the room with Sierra when he decided to defy Katie’s wishes and tell Simon. When he told Simon, he gave it to him straight. He was great the way he delivered his lines, Hunt Block was terrific. Paul Leyden was fabulous with his initial reaction with Simon’s finding out that it’s Katie donating part of her liver to Margo. I can’t wait to see this upcoming week. Keep up the good work ATWT and I’ll be watching. Kudos to Ellen Dolan, Scott Holmes, Terri Colombino, Larry Bryggman & Joseph Cross.   • I am continually amazed at just how good Terri Colombino (Katie) is. Her scenes on Friday were just amazing. I felt so much for her. Colombino is an incredible actress who just gets better and better. I can’t wait for next week! [August 26 - August 30, 2002]

  • Thank you CBS for last week’s ATWT episodes. Finally we got a week full of Simon and Katie Frasier! I loved watching Paul Leyden play both the schemer Donovan and the heroic Simon with ease. I also loved all of the Margo and Katie scenes. The episode that ended with Katie singing to Margo made me cry, it was written so well. I’m looking forward to the upcoming hospital scenes with Katie and Simon in the actual same place for once. Keep up the good work. Kudos for Terri Colombino, Paul Leyden, and Ellen Dolan.   • I never liked the character of Katie - she was so immature and self-centered. My mind has certainly changed this past week. Marvelous acting. So real it brought tears to my eyes.   • What a wonderful episode that was on Wednesday when Simon pulled Katie back from the light! His love, his concern and his support of her through all of this hospital story has been so great. I think that the scene that played yesterday when he burst in to her room and started to try to keep her with him, when he was afraid she was dying, was Emmy quality acting. Keep Paul Leyden on the front burner and you will please a host of your fans! Terri Colombino was very touching in the scene as well. They are a great team and I wish we could see them more often.   • Absolutely loved Katie and Simon at the hospital on Monday’s episode. Although brief, you could really get the amount of love that the two shared. I’m so glad that Simon is back in Oakdale with Katie where he belongs. Looking forward to the scenes ahead for these two.   • Helen Wagner was a young woman when I started watching CBS soaps and during all that time I have never been so intrigued by an actor as I am with Paul Leyden as Simon Frasier. No TV show day or night has ever created the fascinating excitement this actor does every moment that he is on screen. He is oozing with talent, good looks, charm and charisma. His voice, accent, smile, and personality can’t be beat and CBS is lucky to have him. We viewers are lucky that CBS found this amazing Aussie. Paul Leyden is positively captivating, and no soap will ever have any more going for it. I love ATWT more than ever before since the day he stepped into Oakdale. [August 26 - August 30, 2002]

  • I love Paul Leyden as Simon Frasier and also as Donovan Curry. He is worth watching any day of the week. I do keep watching but you do not have him on enough.   • If you want to know the recipe for how to make ATWT better than ever... it’s simple. Put Katie and Simon in a front burner storyline, and show them all the time. Terri Colombino and Paul Leyden are just terrific together. In every scene they shine and have such chemistry. This is a true super couple like I haven’t seen on a soap opera in ages. They need to be given top priority on ATWT, which means substantial storylines and lots of airtime. Please give us fans what we want, more Katie and Simon! SD, Hartford [August 12 - August 16, 2002]

  • I am more than a little frustrated at the lack of airtime for Katie and Simon. Katie and Simon have it all, humor, undying love and great chemistry, and that is why I am a little surprised that they are not on more. I had hoped that I would see a summer full of adventure for Katie and Simon, but they haven’t had much to do lately. A good week was considered seeing the Avanya storyline 2 days. I loved the scenes when they finally were able to reunite, but then they were separated again. I understand Katie going back to Oakdale, but wish Simon would have gone with her. I hope Simon returns to Oakdale very soon so he can support Katie as she supports Margo. I hope to see Katie and Simon in a front burner storyline very soon. They are one of ATWT’s biggest assets and need to be shown more. [August 12 - August 16, 2002]

  • I have to say the storyline involving Tom & Margo is powerful, heartbreaking and also a story of strength. All of the actors involved are making this a memorable and important story. It’s good to see Tom & Margo up front again. Also, it’s nice to see a tender side to John. As for Katie, she’s showing how mature and loving she can be. It’s nice to see a more adult Katie standing by her sister. Hopefully Bob, Kim, Hal and Emily will have a place in this story as well. Hope to see much more of Tom and Margo for years to come.   • Paul Leyden and Terri Colombino are just wonderful together as Simon and Katie Frasier. They are the only reason I am watching daytime again. So, where are they? This couple deserves much more than just one day a week of airtime. Come on ATWT ...You have a major supercouple on this show and you're blowing it! Paul and Terri bring so much passion, humor, charm and excitement to the characters of Simon and Katie that they deserve to be front and center! They are without a doubt the most refreshing and unique couple on daytime right now.   • Watching Katie and Simon reunited in the jail cell today confirmed my belief that this is the best couple ever created on daytime TV. Paul Leyden and Terri Colombino do such a terrific job of showing the passion and love that Katie and Simon share. They make ATWT exciting and worth watching.   • I'm so happy that Henry found Simon. The scenes between those two were hysterical. I hope this is a new friendship in the making. They, along with Katie, would be so great stirring up trouble in Oakdale. I hope the plan to free Simon goes off without a hitch. I hated seeing him locked in that cell and worrying about everyone else, so I want him back in action soon. I hope there is a huge confrontation between Simon and Donovan. Paul Leyden has blown me away with his performances. He is such an amazing actor and a huge asset to the show. I can?t wait for Simon and Katie to reunite. They are so sexy and fun together.   • The Avanya storyline is currently my favorite. The only disappointment is how nearly a week passes before they are shown again, and it feels like it is never on. Katie’s dream of Simon and how she knew the man at the hotel wasn’t her husband really shows how strong Katie and Simon’s love is. Her dream also made me realize how badly I missed them together. I’m dying to see their reunion, so I hope it happens soon. I loved seeing Lucinda, Rose, and Katie take control of the situation with Donovan. Those scenes were so funny. They make a great team. Anyway, I hope this storyline continues being so entertaining! Everyone involved is doing such a good job, especially Paul Leyden. He has been magnificent contrasting Simon and Donovan, which doesn’t surprise me. He is such a pleasure to watch. I hope Paul Leyden remains on the show for years to come. [July 15 - July 19, 2002]

  • I think that Simon is the sexiest guy you have on your show and Katie is lucky to have him. He is great playing both parts and makes me love him even more. Katie and Henry are the funniest people on there. I do hope that you decide to keep Henry on. He is the best at keeping Katie on her toes and the best person for her friend.   • I was so touched by the scenes with Katie and Simon saying goodbye as he went off to help Rose and Paul. You could tell that he didn't want to go, but they both knew it was the right thing to do. Yes, it's unfair that Lucinda and Lily always expect Simon to rescue their loved ones, but let's face it, that's what Simon does best, besides love Katie to distraction! I'm hoping that Katie does get involved in this somehow, but not to put Simon or her at risk. Please don't separate these two wonderful characters! They are at their best when they are working together. I want them to have a great story this summer where they can learn more about each other and let their love grow.   • I love the character of Simon Frasier. He is considerate, romantic, and so sexy. Simon also has a big heart and a great sense of humor. His shady past and quest for redemption by helping others makes him all the more interesting. I hope this trip to Avanya reveals some connection to Simon's past. I would love to see a family member or old friend of his come to Oakdale. I'm sure there are so many layers to it that can be explored with this character. His relationship with Katie is my favorite aspect of the show and can't wait to see what is in store for their future. Paul Leyden is the best actor I've ever seen on daytime and is irreplaceable. He puts his heart and soul into the role of Simon, and it shows in every scene. I hope to see many more years ahead with Paul Leyden's Simon. [June 24 - June 28, 2002]

  • Oh my goodness!Lucy and Aaron are the cutest couple since Simon and Katie! They are so adorable! My twin sister and I love this show and faithfully record it everyday while we're at school, and now that school is out, we can tune in everyday! We just hope that little Miss Alison Stewart doesn't screw it up, which we're sure she'll try and do.We're so happy that this whole mess with Dahlia is over and now Simon and Katie can go back to being happy!Oh and one more thing...thank God for Henry Coleman! ~Belle and Marah, 16, NYC [June 3 - June 7, 2002]

  • The only reason I started to watch ATWT (which is the only soap opera I view) is because of Simon (Paul Leyden). Once I saw him I was immediately hooked to the show. I mean the accent, the looks, that attitude, what's not to like about Simon? Then when he and Katie got together, their chemistry and just the fun things that happen around them hooked me even more. Anyway, the point of this is that in today's episode it hinted that Katie shot Simon. All I have to say is that if this is true and Simon ends up dying, I will be very disappointed and I know many others will be too.   • Thank you, thank you for bringing back the real Katie and Simon! Tuesday's episode was terrific. Terri and Paul have such great chemistry together. They make Katie and Simon romantic, sexy and fun. They are the best couple on TV.   • Finally, the couple I fell in love with last summer is back and better than ever! Simon and Katie Frasier's scenes together on Tuesday (6/4) were just fabulous and were so needed after that Dahlia fiasco. Thank you ATWT for giving us this most amazing couple. Paul Leyden and Terri Colombino are two of the best to come along in a very long time. Their ease and comfort with each other on screen is such a pleasure to watch.   • I'm glad Simon and Katie's love survived Dahlia's schemes. I think both of them have learned valuable lessons that will lead to a healthier marriage. I really missed their light, but sentimental and funny, scenes when they were having problems. It was so great to finally see them back to their fun and sexy selves. Only Katie and Simon could pull off streaking through the woods as a way to celebrate their new lease on love. They are the best daytime couple by far.   • Katie and Simon are my favorite couple on the show. Both characters are fantastic, but together they are so much more interesting. I'm looking forward to the conclusion of the Dahlia story. She has caused enough trouble for them and deserves to pay for it. I was thrilled when Monique's real murderer was revealed and Simon was finally free of the impending criminal charges. I'm so happy that Dahlia couldn't touch their strong, deep love, and Katie and Simon will have a bright future together. I hope they finish working on the cottage soon.   • Paul Leyden and Terri Colombino were beyond excellent this week. Their scenes when Katie found out the whole story about Monique were very sad but powerful. Even when they argue, their deep love continues to shine through. Simon and Katie were both clearly tortured by being apart. It was strange to see them like that because they are usually so happy. I'm sure this will lead to a stronger marriage for them so I will bear with it, even though it is hard to see them like this. I also thought Colleen Dion was good, too. I felt sorry for Dahlia until she mentioned hurting Simon. That was just unacceptable. I hope Katie decides to get past the hurt and work with Simon against Dahlia like he suggested.   • Wow! Terri Colombino is just ... wow! She really puts 100% into bringing Katie to life and her performances are so rife with emotions that I'm continually sucked in like I was experiencing what Katie is feeling myself. I'm behind Katie all the way with this Dahlia thing. She has every right to doubt Simon. Any deceit that involves murder should have big ramifications on the trust in a relationship.   • The love story of Katie and Simon only gets better and better, despite the obstacles. They are so sweet and loving. The romantic words they have shared recently have warmed my heart. I love watching them learn how to make their relationship successful through trust and honesty. I also love the way Katie has handled Dahlia recently. She isn't blinded to her anymore and gives Dahlia the attitude she deserves. I'm so happy that they are getting a place of their own. The cottage needs a lot of work, but it will be enchanted with the magic of Simon and Katie soon. I'm glad they did the right thing and used their own money, not Monique's. The mystery surrounding Monique's death and Simon's past is very interesting. It promises some great performances for Paul Leyden and Terri Colombino, so I can't wait to see it develop further.   • I absolutely loved Katie's confrontation with Dahlia over the kiss. I'm thrilled that Katie realizes not to trust Dahlia. Seeing Katie willing to throw everything she's worked for away for her husband, and Simon refusing to let her give up her dream because of him made me fall in love with this couple all over again. There is no one and nothing that will be able to break them up. I enjoyed the small birthday celebration for Katie that they had.   • Can I rave about Katie and Simon? I absolutely adore this couple. The wedding, and the events leading up to it, was fantastic. There was not a single thing I didn't like about the wedding.   • Katie Frasier is the funniest thing, even when she's not in the scene! Hearing Mother Superiour relate Katie's stay at the convent had me laughing so hard that my teeth-bleaching trays flew out of my mouth!   • As the World Turns' Katie and Simon are the most amazing couple on daytime. You can't help but feel the heat between these two. I think Simon finally realized how much he loves Katie in Malta, and I love the way everyone around him is noticing it and calling him on it. My heart broke for an injured Simon as he walked in to see Katie kissing Bruno. I'm upset about how Katie is behaving, and I hope it doesn't create another obstacle in their relationship. Simon needs to bite the bullet and admit how he feels about her.

  • My Fave Couple ... Thanks so much for including my favorite couple on your cover (Katie and Simon from ATWT). Paul Leyden and Terri Conn are fabulous. Their chemistry on screen is sizzling! My message to ATWT is don't waste this heat! Fans may start out on the edge of their seats, but keep them waiting too long and they won't care about losing that edge. Don't keep these two apart much longer. Katie and Simon are so much better together than apart. The adventure could be endless. (L.K.)

  • A True Love Worth Fighting For ... Paul Leyden and Terri Colombino were beyond excellent this week on As the World Turns. The scenes in which Katie found out about Monique were very sad, yet powerful. Even when Simon and Katie argue, their deep love shines through. Simon and Katie were both clearly tortured by being apart. It was strange to see them like that, because they are usually so happy.

    I'm sure this bump in the road will lead to a stronger marriage, so I will bear with it, even though it is hard to see them like this. I also thought Colleen Dion (Dahlia) was good. I felt sorry for Dahlia until she mentioned hurting Simon. That was just unacceptable. I hope Katie decides to get past the hurt and work with Simon against Dahlia like he suggested.   • Wedding Bliss ... Katie and Simon's wedding on As the World Turns was definitely a classic. It was unique and special, just like them. Even though it started off a little shaky, I was so pleased it turned out for the best. The miracles happening when Katie's hopes were at their lowest were truly magical. The exchanged vows were sweet and full of love. The montage was brilliantly done and unexpected. The private moments between Katie and Simon were incredibly romantic.

    Simon really is the perfect husband. The scenes with Katie's family were sweet as well, and I hope to see more of that in the future. I completely fell in love with Katie and Simon all over gain thanks to this wedding. They truly are perfect for each other, and I can't imagine either of them with anyone else. -- Jennifer Severino [January 15, 2002]

Their physical appearances complement each other perfectly. Paul Leyden and Terri Conn have great chemistry, and their scenes are amazing. Simon is much better with Katie thatn he was with Lily. With Katie, he smiles more and seems much happier. Katie hasn't been a saint, but she deserves some happiness, too. When she is with Simon, her sweeter side shines through.   • As much as ATWT fans have embraced head writer Hogan Sheffer, they're not amused by the recent actions of Oakdale's resident heroine -- Lily .... "Lily is no better than Katie in this situation," says Tommy Prescott of Wyoming. "Lily is running around on her husband, and Katie is labeled a tramp.   • 'What is She Thinking?' -- I have had it with Lily and Simon on As the World Turns .... Does Lily just have a thing for destitute men she can dazzle with her money? It does not make sense that she would go off the deep end like this; it's really nauseating to watch her with Simon. I say let Rose have Holden; at least she would appreciate him.
