We were all saddened to hear the news of the passing of our dear Lady
Lacey, co-founder of RAOK. I have made a memorial page for this sweet

Ramdom acts of kindness start in the home, then branches out to the
world by all members of your family. In today's "modern" world, the
majority of people are so caught up in their everyday lives, they do not
give this simple gesture a second thought.
With all the new technology and the internet, these little acts of
kindness can reach millions of people. Maybe someone just needs to know
there is someone out there thinking of them, a little pat on the back, a
kind word, an encouraging word. Whatever it is, you know you are doing
this for the good of others.
The RAOK Award Committee gave me this wonderful and beautiful Inner Beauty Award on June 18, 2001. I can't tell you how much I appreciate this and how proud I am to be a part of this group. Thank you so much RAOK!!!!
Open the windows of your heart and let the spirit of kindness enter.
Even if you do not receive anything in return, you will be rewarded with
the knowledge that you did something good, something nice. That, in
itself, is enough of a reward.
This organization started in January, 1999, and has grown to over
2000 members. Members promise to give 5 minutes a day and visit someone
on the net and sign their guestbook, perhaps giving a word of
encourgement. Go on over and see what they have to offer.
