Fu T'sang Dragon Links
Befitting our Chinese pearls, the Fu T'sang Lung is the dragon of hidden treasure in ancient Chinese mythology. A Chinese lung or Imperial dragon is an ancient type of dragon, distinguished most easily by its five toes. The Dragon King issued orders for an emperor by moving in four directions simultaneously. The fifth direction (fifth claw) is his center, where he remains. The lung is depicted as a sinuous, scaled creature with four stumpy, clawed legs and a horned, whiskered head. Like all dragons, a lung represents masculine 'yan' force. Chinese dragons are benevolent, powerful, life-giving, and wise. They are sometimes referred to as the 'angels of the orient'.
If you've looked for internet info and pictures about Chinese dragons you will get a zillion hits for Chinese restaurants, Chinese boat racing, explicit links (don't ask!), Year 2000 links, and a lot of Chinese water dragon care information. If you are really looking for 'dragons' or 'lungs' then this is the place for you. These are Chinese dragons, including lung, chiao, kiu, li, mang, pa-snake and others. I run a search every couple of weeks for Chinese dragon or lung gifs, links, info, etc. Here are my findings. If you know of a site that I have missed, please email me and I'll check it out. Also, do let me know if you ever come across a bad link - I used to check all the links when I updated the site, but now the list is pretty extensive. I'll still run a link-check program every so often. Enjoy!!!
sincerely
your hostess the Fu T'sang Lung
