Tin Cup Cultured Pearl Necklace This is a 17" tin cup necklace of cultured pearls and 14K goldfilled chain, with round springring clasp. The pearls are stunning A-grade 5.5 mm (rice-shaped, about 7 mm long) freshwater cultured pearls from the White Lotus pearl farm in China. White Lotus keeps their nucleated oysters growing in a pond for at least three years; the proof is in the durable silky luster of the pearls. The pearls have good size/shape uniformity, rare inclusions, very thick nacre, rich pearlescence, and are white with ivory overtones. Ultra-secure wrapped loops link the pearls within the fine (1.5 mm) chain. A very delicate-looking necklace! The photo is larger than the actual necklace, to show detail.
