Small Game Hunting
We are proud to offer upland and waterfowl hunting. Our hunting season begins in September with Blue Grouse high in the New Mexico Mountains. Then, our season opens to Waterfowl; with ducks being the primary target. Quail opens in November and pheasant opens, only for four days; in December.

Described as the hardest upland hunting you will ever do. Blue Grouse's habitat is at elevations starting at 8,500 feet and up to 10,000 feet. This grouse is the second largest grouse species in North America and lives in the Jemez Mountains, Sangre de Cristo Mountains and the San Juan Mountains.

New Mexico is blessed with being between the Central Flyway and the Pacific Flyway. All our hunting is done in public land in portable blinds. Most species of ducks can be found in our area, mallards, wood ducks, teal, wigeon, etc.
New Mexico's Pheasant Season is only four days long but the state does have a populations of wild birds. Join in for this exciting December hunting with hard flushing roosters and a hard working dog.
Scaled Quail, Gambels Quail and Montezuma Quail live in New Mexico. New Mexico's season runs from November to January.
