Upland Hunting

Grouse, dove, quail and pheasant hunting are done on public land with a hard working dog.  Private dogs are allowed with prior agreement.   Max - 2 hunters.  Hunters should bring;

• New Mexico Small Game license with habitat stamp (available locally).

• 12 -20 gauge shot gun with 71/2 shot for grouse, dove and quail.  #6 or #5 for pheasant.

• Good hiking boots.

Waterfowl

Ducks and geese (if available) are conducted in portable blinds on public land; we will go to where the birds are located.  The hunt will include guide, gun dog, decoys and calling.  These hunts are half day trips.  Max - 3 hunters.  Hunters should bring;

• New Mexico Small Game license with habitat stamp.

• Federal Duck Stamp and HIP stamp.

• Steel Shot (required) #2 or #3, 2 3/4 or 3 inch depending on gun.

• 12 guage shotgun (recommended).

• Camo parka or jacket (rental available).

• Waders (rental available).

Waterfowl Hunting $125.00.

Gift Certificates are available for the perfect birthday, anniversary, graduation or Christmas present.

Please Note:

A 50% deposit is required to reserve a trip for a hunt trip. Confirmation of dates will be done by email, mail or telephone call.  Refunds will be made if the cancellation is done three weeks prior to hunting date. Fin & Feather reserves the right to deny any fly fishing trip, or small game hunting trip if the participant isn't physically able to wade, walk or participation in strenuous activity in high altitude is detrimental to health.
