Stranger Danger
On your bulletin board, put up simple pictures of a piece
of candy, man or woman, car, and a child yelling. Once
you've discussed the basic safety rules of stranger danger,
add captions to each of these pictures. "Never accept candy
from strangers" by the candy picture. "Don't talk to strangers
unless someone you trust says it's ok" by the man or woman
picture. "Never get in a stranger's car" by the car picture.
"Yell 'This isn't my mommy or daddy' if a stranger tries to
grab you" by the picture of the child yelling . Go over each
one of
these for several days and the ideas will begin to get across
to them.
