Suggestions for use, etc.
Use your computer to design and print your chosen image or slogan...
Print one copy, then photocopy the desired number of times.
(Photocopies seem to be more resistant to weather than ink-jet print-outs.)
Clag (for sticking up posters) is made by mixing flour and water. Carry a jar with the flour in it and a bottle of water. When you are in the right place, mix the water and flour together. Use a paintbrush (or your hands) to apply. Even a stick can be used to apply the clag. (If you have never made clag before, don't worry, it's easy) By the way, clag goes off pretty quickly so you might as well only make as much as you need...
Sticky tape can also be used to hold up a poster.
You can buy sticker paper from stationary shops. Some places cheap (100 for $19), some place expensive (10 for $20). All you have to do is print on the sticker paper. It's a lot easier to stick up on the go...[Make sure the surface is smooth or finely porous. Smear the back of the poster with condensed milk, spread on with a brush, sponge, rag or your hands. Condensed milk dries very fast and hard. Also smear some on the front once the poster is up to give protection against the weather and busy fingers that like to pull at corners. Wallpaper pastes also work quickly and efficiently. It's best to work both painting and postering at night with a look-out. (from "steal this book ")]
Save on photocopy costs by putting a number of things onto one page. I.e. put two A5-sized posters onto one A4 sheet, photocopy, then cut in half.
Put posters in places where they are unlikely to be taken down. Down
alley ways is a good idea. Or on abandoned buildings. Empty Shops... Poles...
Placing them in McDonalds is not a good idea. They will be taken down
within one day and some poorly paid teenager will have to do it... (Which
is kind of sad)
Save flyers and keep them for a year then start distributing again.
Print up your own flyers or coupons for a multinational fast-food giant and distribute them. Make them as realistic as possible. Advertise "free food for seniors-day".
