I just can't help it. I'm dumfounded when I read stories of these religiously obsessed people among us. I mean please, still in this day and age, 2006, missionaries invading other cultures to propagate ridiculously false hopes of some vague salvation. The singular intention of these expeditions of course is to convert these poor "unenlightened" people to their religion. And appallingly it is not just a third world of poverty, famine, jungles, illiteracy etc. either, these idiots are regularly banging on the doors of our own middleclass neighborhoods!

It's shameful arrogance to assume that some cultures or people, presumably misguided by these missionary standards, are not to be saved (whatever that means) if they don't adopt these beliefs. Really their efforts to impart salvation have nothing to with the well being of these "unsaved" people but merely a selfish vehicle to further their perception of good! Couldn't they stop reading that book of death (the Bible), and do something constructive for LIFE for Life's sake only? Just make life better for anyone in a tangible way.

Of course these missionary fools become outraged when told they are a step along an evolutionary map. They cling to the fantasy of a man and woman suddenly appearing on earth to spread, live and reflect the "word". Certainly any claim they might make to our honorable and intelligent simian ancestors would be an insult to Darwin. Actually these religious types missed the evolutionary guide that nature offered them. If anything their stubborn adherence to some incestuous belief in an "Adam and Eve fairy tale" reflects the character of these Christian missionaries: insanity, selfishness, retardation, and/or gross stupidity! Missing that evolutionary path only produced this nasty sub species: "Born Again Christian"!

Maybe it's this incest hiding in the Christian belief that is really the nasty little secret of original sin Catholicism believes we humans are so terribly and painfully wrapped in. Just can't come to terms with it any more than the Catholics can reason out the virgin birth!

Virgin Birth let me get that one straight. Mary was married to Joe and some Angel or God impregnated her with Jesus. So she was an adulterer but yet still a virgin. Yea right and good old Joe was not the least bit suspicious. I wonder if they had deliverymen back then. Anyway just a "wee bit" confusing for me.

And when God, who created the entire universe with all of its glories, decides to deliver a message to humanity, He WILL NOT use, as His messenger, a person on cable TV with a bad hairstyle.

That accounts for the not awake or aware Christians but the Muslims or Moslems (whatever) had certainly better continue sticking their asses in the air and hope that their insane belief system actually is real. No respectable god would tolerate murders and suicides and hell if they're wrong, wow! Seventh Heaven I don't think so!

Why do we believe in such rubbish in the first place? Is it simply from fear of death or just the imagined shame in our own lives? Whatever the reason it makes more sense to just give it up as we have Santa Claus etc. It obviously is doing nothing wonderful for our planet and its residents!
