Dear Delriece...
I have been interested in witchcraft for as long as I can remember. I
have this unexplained need to become what I have been fanticizing
about. I finally started trying fullfill this need, but no one around me
seems to acknowledge what I am trying to do. Could you help me find the
words to explain to my friends that this is something that I beleive is
right
and that christianity is not what i want to believe in?
Also, is there a way to find out if I have a Wiccan background?

Dear Sorwin,
Your first step is to make sure that you have the right attidude about your newfound religion. Many people find that their loved ones don't take them seriously and more often then not I notice it is because they, perhaps subconsciously, downplay their involvement in Wicca. If you're ready and haven't done it yet, perform your own dedication ritual and promise yourself to not hide who you are as you will now be representing your faith!
Then, take the time to sit down with your friends and announce your decision. Tell them that this is something very important and special to you and that they should respect you, as you know they do, and your beliefs. Do not try to explain why Christianity isn't right for you unless they ask. Don't leap into piles of details unless they ask. Just be receptive to questions and get out what needs to be said; that you are a responsible person and can choose for yourself what is right for you.
Light!
Delriece
