Dear Delriece...
i have a problem my parents are totally against wicca and don't know
that i am practicing it. i want to tell them but they'll get mad at me.
i've tried telling them about wicca and how it isn't satan worship but
they still think it is evil. what can i do to show them it isn't
evil???

Dear Skye,
It is very good that you want to tell your parents that you are practicing Wicca. Set a good example for them by following all of their rules and then set aside a time to talk to them when they are in a good mood. Be prepared with written definitions and tell them that you have something about yourself that is very special that you would like to share with them. Tell them that you have found the religion of Wicca and that it makes you very happy. Wait until they ask for more information about what Wicca is. If they start saying that it is 'evil', wait until they are through venting and then calmly say, "would you like to hear what I believe Wicca is?" The trick here is to not be afraid and to be adult about it!
