Dear Delriece...
I am writing in regards to losing my children in an Alabama court due
to accusations of witchcraft(pagan/wiccan).I have not been in a circle
for over 6 years and all they had to use witchcraft against me were
pictures of my 7 year olds horseshoe she found at the beach, a picture of
some bones I hand painted w/feathers,and a garden plaque of a sun and
moon.My ex-husband has custody for 8 monthes now and the courts didn't
even care that he was in child support arrears of $34,000.I even brought
police reports into court that showed him going to jail 6 times for
assalting me in front of our children,The Department of Human Resources to
speak on my behalf,school teachers,and the seargeant of the police that
knows me and my daughters for 6 years now.So,it was not a question of
parenting abilities it was all religion bias,based.I dont have anymore
money after being abused by the system to fight this ,and ACLU,andACLJ
say that I do not lack merit but they can not fund thid fight.I a!
m now trying the federal courts...hopefully they can help me.I would
like to know if ANYONE besides me thinks this unjust and if so how I can
get my daughters back......if you need proof of what I am saying I do
have the transcript. thank you so much for all of your time and
thoughts.

Dear Jezzbel,
I'm afraid that you're not the first case that
I've heard of in which a brutal child custody battle
has unfairly used religious choice as a reason to take
children out of the hands of the more responsible
parent. I do agree that this is not right and if you
need me to write any official letters as a Wiccan
Priestess regarding the religion I would be happy to
do so. But, unfortunately, I'm no lawyer, so you'll
have to consult your lawyer in order to succeed. I do
