Dear Delriece...
I have been Wiccan for over three years,
since I was 13. My family is all strict Catholic. I have tried to tell my
mother about what i believe, and who i am, but everytime i do, she just
interrupts me and refuses to talk about it. my sister knows, but i
want to tell my mother myself. How do I do this?

Dear Avani,
It's very good that you're going to share part of you with your mother. Set aside a time to talk to her, and perhaps arrange for your sister to talk to her after you do. Don't go with your sister or your mother might feel like you're ganging up on her!
Begin by telling her that you're not Catholic, and that you're not doing this to hurt her. Then tell her that you're Wiccan. Be prepared with definitions, but don't push information on her. Allow her to ask the questions. Tell her how important this is to you. And do remind her that you are a responsible person and that you would stop doing something if it were bad for you.
Light!
Delriece
