Dear Kayt,
If you have any way of contacting him I suggest you do so because it would be the most effective way! It is unethical to perform a spell to force anybody to do anything, but you can perform a spell to try to communicate with him and ask him to contact you. It's best if you write your own spell. I suggest pouring a small bit of water in a cup and imagining an ocean of distance between you getting smaller as you let it evaporate on your altar. You can also charge a piece of paper with his name on it and tape it to your phone.
