Adrian's VFW ( Annis-Fint) post is named for two Lenawee County World War I veterans. Claud Annis was killed in action Aug. 7, 1918, in Chateau Thiery, France, at the age of 28. John Fint died in 1928, two months after the post was dedicated. He was 30.
