Template Drawings | ||
OverviewIn the Office of Design and Construction, we have developed template drawings which contain the basic dimension, text and line styles necessary to create any AutoCad2000 drawing. Each template also has been pre-formatted with our four standard paper sizes, in the form of Page Layouts (formerly Paperspace in Acad R14).You can download a non-proprietary version of our templates by clicking on the following link:
Additionally, you will need to insert the editable title block information to each Plotted sheet, in the appropriate layout (paper space), using insertion point (0,0,0). Click here to download the Block called "SHTTITLE24x36.dwg." Using the TemplatesBy opening the template drawing and performing a Save as... to a job folder, the operator can create a new drawing for a new project. This drawing can become a Baseplan, a Trade-specific base plan or a Plotted sheet. Note that the plotted sheet requires that the X-Border by Xref'd to it. The new drawing will already have all of the above-mentioned styles within it.
