We meet every Tuesday evening in the Methodist Church Hall in St. James Street, Monmouth at 7.30 p.m. and have singers from a wide area who come regularly to rehearse with the chorus.  We are always looking for new members who would like to join us and it is not necessary to be able to read music or have an exceptional singing voice.  The voice will improve with practice and teach tapes are provided so that parts can be learnt while driving or working in the garden, jogging etc.  You are very welcome to come and listen but be warned, you will be entranced when you hear the infectious sound created by the unaccompanied voices and it won't be long before you want to join the chorus on the risers.

Visitors are always very welcome and can be sure of an entertaining evening and a 'cuppa' and a biscuit at the break time.   We are particularly keen to meet barbershoppers from all over the world who are in Wales on holiday or on business.  If you would like to make contact please E-mail:- alan.lightly@virgin.net or just arrive and make your presence known to the first person you meet.  You will be introduced to the chorus and may join us on the risers if you feel so inclined.

The hall is very easy to find if arriving from Cardiff / Newport direction on the A449 /A40.  Turn left at the traffic lights on the dual carriageway by the Monmouth Boys School.  After 100 metres turn right at the T junction and the church hall is about 50 metres on the left.  If arriving from the Ross-on-Wye direction it is probably easiest to turn left at the same traffic lights, cross the bridge over the river Wye and find a place to turn round.  Return across the bridge to cross over at the traffic lights and follow the above directions.

PLEASE ! - COME AND JOIN US.
