Interviews regarding vampire myths, legends, and stories.

Interviewing local people surrounding the area a vampire legend is originated is actually a very easy thing to do, though does sometimes require additional research.

Concerning older legends many local residents don’t mind telling the stories.  Be sure to document their full real name.  Ask them where they heard the story, and if speaking to several people, ask about some of the other people you have interviewed by name to see how they are viewed in the community.  (Usually outcasts of society give the weirdest versions of stories.)  Be sure to ask who else you can talk to regarding the legend.  This often gives you names of additional people you can interview.  Often stories contain buildings or cemeteries located in town.  In some cases these buildings or cemeteries are no longer there and can only be found in historical documents in the town files.  This is usually the only research that needs done.  If the location can be found be sure to take pictures and document the address incase something happens to the location in the future.
