An attractive insects with pink wings(hence pinkwinged)
Can fly for short distances. They glue their eggs to rough surfaces and are native to Madagascar. If alarmed will secrete a rather unpleasant smell and maybe fly off.
Very easy to keep, however they need good ventilation for moulting.
Try not to handle young nymphs as they are very fragile and often die as
a result of a fall.
Keep young nymphs with the adults because they are reluctant to feed otherwise.
