
America has experienced an incredible tragedy today, with the cowardly terrorist attacks on New York City and the nation's capital. Our thoughts and prayers go out to each of the friends and families of those killed and injured in this outrageous act of aggression.
Please join me in taking time today to pray for the victims and their families, as well as for our nation's leaders. In the days ahead, as our nation struggles to sort out this disaster and authorities investigate these horrifying crimes, we will most urgently need the hand of God upon our land.
As we face the future, let us remember Psalm 27:1-3: "The Lord is my light and my salvation - whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life - of whom shall I be afraid? When evil men advance against me to devour my flesh, when my enemies and my foes attack me, they will stumble and fall. Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then will I be confident."

My heart goes out to the suffering people and their families in New York and Washington DC. What happened yesterday, on American Soil, was the WORST TERRORIST ATTACK IN WORLD HISTORY?
The cowards that took to hijacking American Planes and used them as ?flying bombs? are to burn in hell?FOREVERMORE.
I am awash in the feelings of human suffering?But sadly, Americans are not foreign to this suffering. From Our Birth as a Nation, we have seen this kind of thing before. From the Boston Massacre, to the Burning of the White House during the War of 1812, we Americans have felt the flames of hatred?
It has been a LONG time since we, Americans have bled on our Nation?s soil. Not since the Civil War, have we bled to death, for our babies, ladies and older people. During the ?Civil War? AKA ?War Between the States?, we Americans bled for the ?organic sin? of human chattel slavery. Yes, we poured the blood of over 600,000 Americans for the ?sin of slavery.? Since then, we as a Nation, have fought to ?free the oppressed.? Be they Mexican, South American, Pacific Islanders, European or African -- we have sent brave men and women to their deaths in order to secure freedom, peace and love world-wide?
Yesterday, 11 September in the Year of Our Lord 2001, we bled again?New York City was the prime target for Islamic Fundamentalists, as was the Pentagon in Washington, DC. Steel may melt, and concrete may crumble, but the one thing the terrorists miscounted was this: Americans derive their POWER from each-other?NOT A CENTRALIZED GOVERNMENT?
That is where the Islamic fringe went wrong?They counted on America to be ?passive?, THEY COUNTED WRONG? We, as a Nation, have overcome Racial Bigotry, Gender Discrimination and yes, economic disparity. Is there more room for improvement? YES! But WE, The United States of America, the Second Republic since Rome, show the WORLD how it is done? Check the ?Immigration patterns? world-wide -- EVERYONE COMES HERE!!! We are the ONLY Nation in the WORLD that contains EVERY CREED, RACE, NATIONALITY, RELIGION and COLOR known to MAN? Americans are slow to anger, but when disturbed, fight like no other?Ask Adolf Hitler.
Worse yet, the Terrorists pissed of my Marine Corps Brothers and Sisters?Keep in mind that the U.S. Marine Corps was Founded in the Tun Tavern, 10 November 1775. (Before the U.S. Army ? and is the oldest U.S. Military Force in Action). It must be said that the U.S. Marines were and are comprised of the craziest and bravest U.S. Citizens known. To join the Corps, well, it is to join a brotherhood?Our sister Marines understand this tradition, and we all hold ?babies?, ?ladies? and ?older people? as our sacred trust toward the American People.
What happened yesterday, the killing and murdering of American babies, ladies and older people IS NOT TO BE TOLERATED?
I have word that President George Walker Bush has ordered the Atlantic Fleet to protect the air space of New York and Washington DC, and that, U.S. Marines will be on patrol to guard against further Terrorist Attacks.
The Islamic fringe terrorists had BETTER PRAY TO ALLAH, that the U.S. Marines DO NOT FIND THEM FIRST. Remember, we liberated American Shipping from the Barbary Pirates, by killing them effectively, and all other enemies of American Liberty suffered the same fate -- swiftly and unconditionally.

We'll go forward from this moment.
It's my job to have something to say.
They pay me to provide words that help make sense of that which troubles The American soul. But in this moment of airless shock when hot tears sting disbelieving eyes, the only thing I can find to say, the only words that seem to fit, must be addressed to the unknown author of this suffering.
You monster. You beast. You unspeakable b#st#rd. What lesson did you hope to teach us by our coward's attack on our World Trade Center, our Pentagon, us? What was it you hoped we would learn? Whatever it was, please know that you failed.
Did you want us to respect your cause? You just damned your cause. Did you want to make us fear? You just steeled our resolve. Did you want to tear us apart? You just brought us together. Let me tell you about my people. We are a vast and quarrelsome family, a family rent by racial, social, political and class division, but a family nonetheless. We're frivolous, yes, capable of expending tremendous emotional energy on pop cultural minutiae -- a singer's revealing dress, a ball team's misfortune, a cartoon mouse. We're wealthy, too, spoiled by the ready availability of trinkets and material goods, and maybe because of that, we walk through life with a certain sense of blithe entitlement. We are fundamentally decent, though -- peace-loving and compassionate. We struggle to know the right thing and to do it. And we are, the overwhelming majority of us, people of faith, believers in a just and loving God. Some people -- you, perhaps -- think that any or all of this makes us weak. You're mistaken. We are not weak. Indeed, we are strong in ways that cannot be measured by arsenals.
IN PAIN
Yes, we're in pain now. We are in mourning and we are in shock. We're still grappling with the unreality of the awful thing you did, still working to make ourselves understand that this isn't a special effect from some Hollywood blockbuster, isn't the plot development from a Tom Clancy novel. Both in terms of the awful scope of their ambition and the probable final death toll, your attacks are likely to go down as the worst acts of terrorism in the history of the United States and, probably, the history of the world. You've bloodied us as we have never been bloodied before.
But there's a gulf of difference between making us bloody and making us fall. This is the lesson Japan was taught to its bitter sorrow the last time anyone hit us this hard, the last time anyone brought us such abrupt and monumental pain. When roused, we are righteous in our outrage, terrible in our force. When provoked by this level of barbarism, we will bear any suffering, pay any cost, go to any length, in the pursuit of justice.
I tell you this without fear of contradiction. I know my people, as you, I think, do not. What I know reassures me. It also causes me to tremble with dread of the future.
In the days to come, there will be recrimination and accusation, fingers pointing to determine whose failure allowed this to happen and what can be done to prevent it from happening again. There will be heightened security, misguided talk of revoking basic freedoms. We'll go forward from this moment sobered, chastened, sad. But determined, too.
Unimaginably determined.
THE STEEL IN US
You see, the steel in us is not always readily apparent. That aspect of our character is seldom understood by people who don't know us well. On this day, the family's bickering is put on hold. As Americans we will weep, as Americans we will mourn, and as Americans, we will rise in defense of all that we cherish.
So I ask again: What was it you hoped to teach us? It occurs to me that maybe you just wanted us to know the depths of your hatred. If that's the case, consider the message received. And take this message in exchange: You don't know my people. You don't know what we're capable of. You don't know what you just started.
But you're about to learn.

Flags Across American
To show those terrorists that we Americans stick together, FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 14 is "Flags Across America." All Americans are asked to display the American flag either in their homes or cars. Let's keep the meaning of UNITED in "United States". Pass this onto as many people as you know. THANK YOU.
Let us all fly our American flag, from our homes, from our businesses, from our cars, from our mailboxes. If you don't have one, go get one. Ted Nugent, the rock singer and hunter/naturalists, upon hearing that California Senators B. Boxer and D. Feinstein denounced him for being a ?gun owner? and a ?Rock Star? wrote this. This was his response after telling the senators about his past contributions to children's charities and scholarship foundations which have totaled more than $13.7 million in the last 5 years!!
I'm a Bad American - this pretty much sums it up for me. I like big trucks, big boats, big houses, and naturally, pretty women. I believe the money I make belongs to me and my family, not some midlevel governmental functionary with a bad comb-over who wants to give it away to crack addicts squirting out babies.
I don't care about appearing compassionate. I think playing with toy guns doesn't make you a killer. I believe ignoring your kids and giving them Prozac might.
I think I'm doing better than the homeless. I don't think being a minority makes you noble or victimized. I have the right not to be tolerant of others because they are different, weird or make me mad. This is my life to live, and not necessarily up to others expectations.
I know what SEX is and there are not varying degrees of it.
I don't celebrate Kwanzaa. But if you want to that's fine. I just don't feel like everyone else should have to.
I believe that if you are selling me a Dairy Queen shake, a pack of cigarettes, or hotel room you do it in English. As of matter of fact, if you are an American citizen you should speak English. My uncles and forefathers shouldn't have had to die in vain so you can leave the countries you were born in to come disrespect ours, and make us bend to your will. Get over it!!!!!!!!!!!
I think the cops have every right to shoot your sorry butt if you're running from them after they tell you to stop. If you can't understand the word 'freeze' or 'stop' in English, see the previous line.
I don't use the excuse "it's for the children" as a shield for unpopular opinions or actions. I know how to count votes and I feel much safer letting a machine with no political affiliation do a recount when needed. I know what the definition of lying is, and it isn't based on the word "is"-ever.
I don't think just because you were not born in this country, you qualify for any special loan programs, government sponsored bank loans, etc., so you can open a hotel, 7-Eleven, trinket shop, or any thing else, while the indigenous peoples can't get past a high school education because they can't afford it.
I didn't take the initiative in inventing the Internet. I thought the Taco Bell dog was funny. I want them to bring back safe and sane fireworks. I believe no one ever died because of something Ozzy Osbourne, Ice-T or Marilyn Manson sang, but that doesn't mean I want to listen to that crap from someone else's car when I'm stopped at a red light. But I respect your right to.
I think that being a student doesn't give you any more enlightenment than working at Blockbuster or Jack In The Box.
I don't want to eat or drink anything with the words light, lite or fat-free on the package.
Our soldiers did not go to some foreign country and risk their lives in vain and defend our Constitution so that decades later you can tell me it's a living document ever changing and is open to interpretation. The guys who wrote it were light years ahead of anyone today, and they meant what they said - now leave the document alone, or there's going to be trouble.
I don't hate the rich. I help the poor. I know wrestling is fake. I've never owned, or was a slave, and a large percentage of our forefathers weren't wealthy enough to own one either. Please stop blaming me because some prior white people were idiots - and remember, tons of white, Indian, Chinese, and other races have been enslaved too - it was wrong for every one of them. Get over it!
I believe a self-righteous liberal Democrat with a cause is more dangerous than a Hell's Angel with an attitude.
I want to know exactly which church is it where the "Reverend" Jessie Jackson preaches; and, what exactly is his job function.
I own a gun, you can own a gun, and any red blooded American should be allowed to own a gun, but if you use it in a crime, then you will serve the time.

I don't believe in hate crime legislation. Even suggesting it makes me mad. You're telling me that someone who is a minority, gay, disabled, another nationality, or otherwise different from the mainstream of this country has more value as a human being that I do as a white male. If someone kills anyone, I'd say that it's a hate crime. We don't need more laws! Let's enforce the ones we already have.

I believe that it doesn't take a village to raise a child-it takes a parent with the guts to stand up to the kid and spank his butt and say "NO!" when it's necessary to do so.
I'll admit that the only movie that ever made me cry was Ole Yeller. I didn't realize Dr. Seuss was a genius until I had a kid.
I will not be frowned upon or be looked down upon or be made to keep silent because I have these beliefs and opinions. I thought this country allowed me that right. I will not conform or compromise just to keep from hurting somebody's feelings. I'm neither angry nor disenfranchised, no matter how desperately the mainstream media would like the world to believe otherwise.
Yes, I guess by some people's definition, I may be a bad American. But that's tough.
