BUSINESS DISCUSSED
- Cub Leader Basic - Dates September 17th (Tuesday) and 19th (Thursday) from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Havelock High School. Most leaders need this and should attend.
- Pack Picnic - Date September 21st, Saturday, at Shady Grove A. Scott will not be there so Ben will talk to parents. Everyone bring their own picnic meal. We can provide ice water or bug juice. We will also get 2 bags of charcoal. Look into games for the boys to help in earning beltloops. Make sure parents know to bring own chairs for extra seating. Find out if Dave will be there?
- Baloo Training (Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation) - Date is September 28th, Saturday, at Camp Sam Hatcher from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. Someone from each pack is required to take the Baloo course in order to camp out as a pack.
- Leader Books - The pack will purchase needed books for the leaders, 1 per family. Approximate cost is $300 for Leader books, Program helps, and possibly how to books.
- Popcorn sales - Popcorn sales officially started September 1st!! Get your boys out there selling! Many neighborhoods are already done, many have not been done. We will award 1st, 2nd, and 3rd top sellers of pack scout bucks $60, $45, and $30. Encourage them to sell popcorn, but also mention the buyout of $40 per family. Popcorn sales for the pack ends October 17th. All order forms and any collected monies should be turned in to leaders or popcorn chairman. Checks are made payable to pack 460. The popcorn should be in by November 8th, Friday. We will need help from a few to pick up the popcorn.
- Next roundtable is October 3rd. Lately pack 460 has not had a good showing at roundtable.
- Next leaders meeting is on October 8th at Scott's house at 6:30 pm because the school will be closed. Everyone should make this meeting to follow up plans for the campout!
- Fall Family Campout - Dates are 18, 19, and 20 at Camp Sam Hatcher.
- Pre-registration due by October 11th at a cost of $15 per family. Remind parents that this is to East Carolina Council.
- Pack schedule of events will be done by next leader's meeting.
- Our event at activity time - One was chosen for us at the campout meetings, but Scott has an idea for one if this one doesn't work out.
- Meals - Do we have the dens cook for themselves? It was decided to continue to cook meals by ranks like last year, otherwise everyone would be busy cooking 3 times a day. It will be $10 per family due by October 8th leader's meeting and this is payable to the pack. We need head counts of those attending so we can purchase enough food.
- Cooking - Breakfast will be done by wolves. Lunch will be done by Tigers and Bears. Dinner will be done by Webelos. Since the District Webelos contest is a soup, we will serve that for dinner also. Each group get together and plan menus by next leader's meeting. Sunday breakfast will be poptarts, etc.

Scott set the challenge, let's do it.
