Darlington manager Tommy Taylor was a relieved man after he finally got his first win in charge of the Quakers’.
Taylor revealed he gave the team a tough talking to at half time, which seemed to do the trick. "First half was rubbish, simple as that. At half time
a few words were said to the players to jeer them up a bit. It
was my first game in charge at Feethams and I said to the players
to go out and show what we have been working on in training.
I thought the defence played well, not letting players have space."
As for new signing Brian Healey, Taylor was pleased with the new boys goal and added that he may start with him next week. “I will probably put him on
from the start next week but as I said he probably won't last
the full game."
