The Eucharist
Source and Summit of our life.

The Order exists for Prayer

Prayer  draws its efficacy
From HIM who is the Bread of Life

It is prescribed by our Rule that all the members of a Carmelite Community attend the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass daily and that the Chapel be in the center of the cloister, of access at all times.

In our Carmel we are privileged to have Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament every day.   We also pray the Divine Office in English for the Church and for the world in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament day in and day out.

Our Eucharistic tradition dates back to Mount Carmel;  with Elijah we walk in the strength of the Divine Bread, drawing near to the life of God  by receiving His Body and Blood in the Eucharist and by spending time in adoration and prayer each day.

Each week we are joined by approximately 1,000  Members of the Legion of One Thousand--West who come to spend time in silent Adoration of Jesus-- in our Public Chapel.
