Submissions

"Come... join us..." *thump*

Guidlines

The submission process is quite simple as long as you follow these guidelines:

  • Your submission must be your own work. You may not submit someone else's work--not even if it's in the original artist's name... It's called copyright infringement, my friends.
  • The submission must be a result of your own ability. This means that artwork cannot be traced, midis can't be "resequenced", Chibot characters can't be "altered". These rules stand unless it's a resequencing or alteration of your own midi/character.
  • Keep the file size relatively small. For art, try to keep the filesize less than 200Kb. Midis should be no more than 150Kb.
  • File must be in .jpg or .gif format. This obvioulsy applies only to art, but ever see a 5 meg bitmap? It's not pretty...

If you're willing to follow the above guidelines, just follow these instructions to submit your work:

  1. Compress the file into .zip format and email it to me at archorizon@hotmail.com.
  2. Within a few days, the work will be reviewed by the staff. I wouldn't worry too much about this one... I'm not exactly stingy with my webspace. =)
  3. Then, during the next update, we'll have your work posted in the appropriate section.

Easy, huh? Yeah, it probably didn't really need a list, but that's about as close to being professional as the site gets, lol. Actally, there are a few things you'll probably want to know...

--Even though it's on the site, you (as the work's creator) will always have the option of removing your work from the page. It's yours and you're entitled to it.

--Your work doesn't have to have a title, but if you wish to have a title displayed be sure that this is noted in the submission email. Otherwise, only your name will be posted with it.

--Just for the record: No, I won't pay to host your stuff. So quit bugging me about it.
