Background:
Very little is known about Rahne,but much is revealed in the journals of the deceased Master Mage Merrick.Lorini,unaware of Merrick's death,happened upon these journals while seeking the aid of the mage. The journals chronicle how Merrick found young Rahne shaking and alone in the midst of a burning village.He took her under his guidance and tutored her in the ways of the dark mages.They tell of how Merrick watched Rahne grow and exhibit abilities he described as belonging to an ancient race of nomadic necromancers called the Sorchens.And how he began piecing together her past and eventually telling her of the destiny which awaited her.For detailed accounts,see Merrick's Journals

This illustration is a scene from the online fantasy novel I'm doing in my spare time.Rahne relaxes on the Jaded Reefs of Tines where she usually acquires the runic orbs she uses to adorn herself.Tines is also home to the bird like species known as Praiijer(pronounced Prayer),which are revered for their majestic appearance.Of course,the natural metallic solid gold lining on the tips of their feathers cause reverence of a whole other kind...*sigh*..greed.

Rahne is mysterious,plain and simple.I know,I know..that sounds like an excuse for a character which hasn't been well thought out yet in terms of how they got to be who they are,what they're like, and where they are going.But the truth is she already has a past and I've already mapped out her future.So instead of giving you too much info and ruining her mystique nature,I'll give you info on her physical characteristics(how she dresses,a few of her likes/dislikes,etc;).In the online novel I'm writting,she is on a quest seeking(AHA!So that's why she's called "the seeker")the Scrolls of Sorche.
