What to report:
1. Cloud formations
Wall clouds, with or without rotation.
Roll Clouds.
Elongated funnel shaped clouds with rotation.
Roar and debris from funnel clouds.
2. Hail
Pea size (1/4") or larger
3. Winds over 40 mph
Damage to buildings, trees, and utility poles, any limbs down, and the diameter of the limbs/trees and the direction they fell.
4. Flash flooding
Streams out of banks.
Ponding of water in streets.
Water standing curb-to-curb.
5. Rain gauge reports
Immediate: 1" or more within 1 hour.
After: As measured for that storm
(Be sure to empty your rain gauge before the storm!)
