Who is Carl Jung?
"The self stands for the essence of individuation, and since individuation is impossible without a relationship to one's environment, it is found among those of like mind with whom individual relations can be established."
Carl Gustav Jung

Carl Jung was a physician, psychiatrist and true renaissance man who gave us such concepts as complex, archetype, collective unconscious, introvert and extrovert.  He used dreams, myths and imagination to explore the psyche.

Deeply committed to the dignity, autonomy and growth of the individual, Jung's thoughts and writings span the fields of psychology, literature, sociology, ethics, religion and philosophy.  Jung's psychology has much to offer to those individuals who seek the consciousness and wisdom of their inner journey.

Jung believed that the search for meaning in life is a primary one in any fully lived human life.  This process of living fully, as who we are meant to be, is the process of individuation.  Jungian Venture's aim is to support each person's journey through her or his own individuation process.
