Settings for Viewing Pictures In Netscape
NOTE: Be sure you are running the latest version of Netscape. These suggestions are meant for version 6, and we cannot guarantee their accuracy on earlier versions.
1. Start Netscape, and from the "Edit" menu, select "Preferences...".
2. Start by clearing your cache. (The cache is a holding area of websites you have visited, along with their graphic files.) Under the category "Advanced", select the "Cache" option. Click the button marked "Clear Disk Cache". Under the heading "Compare the page in the cache to the page on the network:", the radio button will be under "Automatically" by default. Try moving this to "Every time I view the page". This should solve the problem most of the time. If not, go to Step 3.
3. Netscape has the option of shutting off viewing images. This might be another reason you are having problems. Under the "Privacy & Security" category, select "Images". Under "Image Acceptance Policy", select "Accept all images." Now, you can close the Preferences section by clicking "OK" to save any changes you made.
