Most experts recommend getting pearls restrung every couple of years! We carry all weights and colors of genuine Gudebrod silk, as well as durable silkon cord. Fu T'sang Treasures uses the traditional single-cord method of hand knotting, which is not only beautiful, but results in a more durable strand than the simpler double-strand knot. We carry 14 karat yellow gold, sterling silver, and 14K goldfilled metal bead tips and clasps in a variety of styles, and will order 18 karat gold, copper, brass, iridium, or niobium upon request. Our prices for this service are very low, even accounting for shipping, because you are getting restringing done by a knotting professional, rather than having your jewels shipped out-of-house, as is done at most jewelry stores. Also, because we offer superior knotting, your strand will last longer between stringings. Free Restringing for Customers We offer a free restringing/knotting service for pearl jewelry purchased from Fu T'sang Treasures. If you purchased your pearls from us, we will gladly restring and knot them for free - for life! All you pay is shipping/insurance and the cost of replacement materials, if needed. Custom Design Service We welcome email inquiries regarding custom pieces and are always happy to work with you and offer price quotes. There is never any obligation to purchase such an item from us, and the price quote will help you to comparison shop. If you are looking for something we don't carry, Fu T'sang Treasures will be happy to help you locate an artist suitable for your needs. Repair Work We love to repair old beadwork! If you have an heirloom, antique, or vintage beadwork item in need of a little loving care, contact us with a description of your problem.
