Rose Quartz and Copper Necklace & Earrings This jewelry set features a 19-1/2" necklace with matching earwires of hand-faceted rose quartz chunks, baby blue glass beads, and copper beads, clasp, and earwires. The earwire dangles are each about 1-1/2" long. The jewelry set has noticeable weight - these are some large gemstones! The rose quartz chunks are a polished pale, semi-translucent natural pink, each about 15x20-mm long. The rose quartz is spaced with 3-mm solid copper balls and 10-mm baby blue glass beads. The clasp and earwires are solid copper. Copper is reputed to yield therapeutic benefits, but it also will turn your skin (temporarily) green at the point of contact. Some people like copper to develop verdigris, whereas others dislike it. Green on your skin and your copper can be prevented by painting your jewelry with clear nail polish or acrylic floor polish.
