Purple & Gold Bugle Beaded Necklace This design is an adaptation from a photo of a necklace I saw on the internet (surfing is a great source of inspiration!). The fabulous bib neckace features iridescent twisted glass bugle beads, shining gold and matte purple seed beads, and 14 karat goldfill. The length is about 18" (naturally rounded, so rather difficult to measure), with a 1/4" wide bugle chain and a drop of 3-3/4" from the top of the chain to the bottom of the dangle. The bugle beads are translucent purple with a satiny multicolor iridescence. The drops on the dangle are deep and pale purple fully leaded hand-faceted crystal. The bead tips and filigree fishhook clasp are 14K goldfilled. The necklace has been strung on strong black beading thread and reinforced, reinforced, reinforced! This is a one-of-a-kind item. I can remake the pattern in various colors, but these purple and gold bugles were a one-time find! The photo is actual size.
