Hot Magenta Pearl Necklace & Earrings This is a 16" necklace and earwires jewelry set featuring genuine pearls spaced with tiny Czech charlotte beads. The pearls are 5-5.5 mm Chinese freshwater pearls that have been permanently dyed a hot magenta purple-pink color. The color will not fade or transfer. The pearls are generally a pointed-egg shape (much shape variation), with wonderful nacre and iridescence, and good size uniformity. The pearls are spaced with 22K gold-coated Czech glass charlottes (faceted on one side to give a bit of flash). The gold of these Czech beads is quite durable, but it is not intended to withstand heavy abrasion (e.g., no sonic jewelry cleaners or other rough treatments that shouldn't be used on pearls anyway). The necklace is secured with a 14K goldfilled lobster claw clasp and bead tips. The matching earwires are also 14K goldfilled. The photo is a bit larger than actual size, to show detail. The pearls are a bit lighter and more pink than the camera would capture. The set comes in a golden foil jeweler's box, accompanied by a sheet with tips for pearl care.
