Pearl & Hematite Necklace & Earrings Set
This is a necklace and earrings set created using alternating 4-4.5 mm freshwater cultured pearls and Miyuki Shoji hematite glass beads. The 16.5" necklace is secured with two round hematite (not glass) beads and a sterling silver lobster claw clasp. The matching sterling silver earwires feature dangles of matched pearls and beads. These petite pearls are naturally ivory-white (not bleached). They are semi-round with minor nacre imperfections and pleasing size/shape/color uniformity. The Miyuki Shoji beads are tiny (just over 1-mm each) hematite glass beads. Because of the delicate size of the pearls and beads, this necklace is strung on highly durable multi-strand beading wire. This special beading wire is coated with nylon to protect the pearls and beads from wear. The overall effect is versatile, understated elegance. This is a one-of-a-kind, original piece. Enjoy!
