Coral Pearl Station Necklace and Earwires This is a 16" necklace and earrings set of 3.8-4.0-mm freshwater cultured pearls, genuine Gudebrod coral-colored silk, and sterling silver. The rice-shaped pearls have been permanently dyed a warm coral color. Dyeing is performed by hand, using an exclusive Japanese process that results in an intense permanent color that allows the natural pearl luster to shine through. Lovely gradations of color give the pearls a textural appeal. The pearls are individually handknotted 'Tin Cup' or station style, with tiny Miyuki shoji silverlined crystal beads at each end to add sparkle and keep the knotting more secure. The bead tips, clasp, and earwires are all sterling silver. For your convenience, the photo is actual size. This is very fluid, delicate set, worthy of the finest occasions!
