Copper & Green Beaded Curve Cuff Bracelet This glittery gem is hand wired copper, strewn with assorted crystals and beads. The cuff has a 7-1/2 circumference (good for a 7" wrist). The 'wave' width varies from a quarter of an inch to about a half an inch. The effect makes a wide cuff - a bit over an inch. The bracelet hooks around itself for security (you can see the edge of the closure in the back of the photo). The sparklies are primarily Czech firepolish faceted crystals, Miyuki shoji triangle glass, fabulous Miyuki twisted bugles, and Matsuno glass beads, with a few other beads to spice up the mix. If you are unfamiliar with genuine copper, be advised that natural copper develops verdigris (darkens) over time and may leave the usual temporary green trace where it routinely touches skin. Of course, this characteristic is also associated with the reputed therapeutic effects of copper. In any case, if the oxidation bothers you don't choose copper (I can create something similar in sterling or goldfill). However, I just love copper and if you are a copper-lover too, then this may be the perfect designer bracelet for you! It's my favorite metal... and it looks so eyecatching with green crystals!
