Garnet & Copper Heart Earwires These romantic earwires are crafted of copper with genuine garnets on the heart-shaped dangles. The total length of each dangle is approximately 1". The garnets are handcut 3-mm deep red round stones. Copper is reputed to yield therapeutic benefits, but it also will turn your skin (temporarily) green at the point of contact. Some people like copper to develop verdigris, whereas others dislike it. Green on your skin and your copper can be prevented by painting your jewelry with clear nail polish or acrylic floor polish.
