Copper Filigree & Cobalt Glass Bracelet This is a 7-3/4" copper and cobalt glass bracelet. Hand-wrapped copper filigree links have been spaced with 6-mm translucent cobalt blue glass beads and secured with a copper 'S' clasp.
Copper is reputed to yield therapeutic benefits, but it also will turn your skin (temporarily) green at the point of contact. Some people like copper to develop verdigris, whereas others dislike it. Green on your skin and your copper can be prevented by painting your jewelry with clear nail polish or acrylic floor polish. If you would like to have this done on the clasp of the bracelet, you can select this option when ordering. The filigree loops are showing no sign of color change (I live near the ocean, so I can see this effect quickly!), so I believe the wire I used to make them must have been pre-coated to retain luster.
